Your hair is done, your outfit is fly, hopefully you have already received your manicure and your pedicure. As you are holding hands and saying prayer or passing the gravy, you do not want people looking at your hands wondering when you are going to get a fill. There should be no chipped nails or paint. Wigs have made a comeback and are here to stay for the foreseeable future. Covid helped expediate their arrival and even though many companies are now attempting to put the brakes on working for home and logging into Zoom meetings, people are still rocking the wigs. I have been a hairstylist for over two decades and back when I started, they were almost non-existent.

There are people with black skin right now sitting in a call center that has no client/customer face to face interaction forced to wear a shirt with a collar and slacks or Dockers because that is deemed to be appropriate business attire. There are some subtle differences that many should be aware of before proceeding with a short haircut. For example, black women, with a short do, a mini relaxer is recommended every other week. A full relaxer should be done approximately every six to eight weeks depending on hair texture.
